Jayden (Chun-Hao) Liu is a Taiwanese artist based in New York and currently pursuing an MFA in Fine Arts at Parsons School of Design. Shaped by Taiwan’s post-colonial conditions, his practice draws from everyday routines, social systems, power dynamics, and the subtle frictions that quietly shape one’s life. His work engages with fractured identity, dispersed forms of power, and the glitches and errors that emerge within systems.
With a background in theatre, Liu merges sculpture, video, and performance into a cohesive experience. He creates atmospheres that highlight the tension, miscommunication, and quiet contradictions that play out in shared spaces — sometimes subtly, sometimes absurdly.
