Jayden Liu (b. Taiwan) is an artist based in Brooklyn. His practice examines the fragility of structures, the tension between support and collapse, and the persistence of incomplete forms. Working across sculpture, installation, and spatial intervention, Liu focuses on processes of casting, assembling, and reconfiguring material relations. His works explore how objects and bodies negotiate balance in spaces where stability is provisional and failure is always near. Liu’s practice resists the impulse to restore or complete. Instead, it lingers in moments of hesitation, imbalance, and partial connection. His installations create conditions where fragments can coexist without forcing resolution, allowing vulnerability and endurance to shape new kinds of relations. Through these gestures, Liu’s work traces a way of being with instability, not as a temporary flaw, but as a continuous and necessary condition.
